What's inside?

Hydrolyzed Yeast Protein: Aqueous yeast solution obtained by biofermentation from Lactobacillus species .

Glycolic acid: It is a member of the Glycolic Alpha Hydroxy Acid family. It is extremely effective when well formulated and applied in the right proportions. Effective results can be started in a very short time with glycolic acid. It is an active ingredient obtained naturally from sugar cane, so glycolic is also called “fruit acid”. Glycolic acid is Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) with the smallest molecular structure.

What are the benefits of Hydrolyzed Yeast Protein?

  • Helps to repair the skin barrier by triggering epidermal lipid synthesis and accelerating the repair of damaged epidermis areas.
  • Restores the functions of the skin barrier.
  • With in vitro studies, it has been determined that TLR-2 and Dectin-1a (two foreign microbe-sensing receptors in the skin) functions are improved.
  • It strengthens the skin barrier and balances the skin ecosystem without causing any negative effects (antibiotic effect) on beneficial bacteria for the skin in the skin microflora.
  • With in vivo study, it has been determined that it reduces water loss in the epidermis (TEWL: trans epidermal water loss: water loss of the epidermis) by 1%
  • With in vivo study, it was observed that while it increased the total lipid level of the skin by 50%, it increased the synthesis of ceramide by 227%.

How does glycolic acid work? In case of daily use of products containing glycolic acid and different Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHA), collagen and elastin tissues are restructured, thus helping to resolve fine lines and wrinkles. In addition, it removes the rough, matte pale appearance and gives a more lively and luminous skin. It is also effective on pores as it triggers collagen synthesis. Glycolic acid, in particular, has a water-retaining effect and deeply moisturizes the skin. While ordinary moisturizers prevent the loss of existing moisture in the skin by forming a film on the upper layer of the skin (TEWL - trans epidermal water loss), glycolic acid acts on the lower layer of the skin due to its very small molecular structure. As a result of stimulating the support tissues of the skin, it triggers the production of hyaluronic acid and moisturizes the lower layers of the skin. Since the production of Hyaluronic Acid is triggered in the lower layers of the skin, the skin regains both its moisture and its elastic structure.

How should 6% Glycolic/Prebiotic Daily Smoothing & Toning Solution be used? It is a very special and unique formula. Contains probiotics and glycolic acid. It is a formula that combines tonic and exfoliant. It helps the skin to maintain its ideal pH by balancing the skin barrier. Sensitive and easily inflamed skin types can also use it. It is recommended to apply on clean skin only in the evening. In the first applications until the skin gets used to the exfoliation, if too much burning/stinging/redness occurs, it can be rinsed off after keeping it on the skin for 5-10 minutes. It is recommended not to rinse after the skin gets used to the exfoliant. Then the skin should be moisturized abundantly with serum and night moisturizer. It should not be applied to the corners of the nose, lips, lip edges and areas very close to the eyes. In case of any irritation, its use should be stopped and the skin should be moisturized abundantly.

How often should I exfoliate with AHA? It is recommended to apply 6% Glycolic/Probiotic Daily Smoothing & Toning Solution daily for the fastest and most effective results in solving concerns. 6% Glycolic/Probiotic Daily Smoothing & Toning Solution is specially formulated for daily use and is gentle. Since it has a balanced pH and is buffered, it is suitable for daily use without causing irritation and without damaging the skin. In order to get effective results, after using it for a certain period of time (2-3 weeks) and getting used to the skin exfoliation process, especially for the concerns of stains and acne scars, 10% or 15% AHA exfoliants should be used on a weekly basis.

Can I use it around the eyes? It can also be applied around the eyes, but it should be tried on a small area around the eyes first. It should never get into the eyes! It should not be used in areas very close to the eyes, on eyelids, eyebrows and eyelashes!

Can I use it with vitamin C? Vitamin C is the most powerful antioxidant, the most effective ingredient that neutralizes and fights free radicals. Vitamin C serum can be applied after AHA exfoliation. It is recommended to use these two molecules together.AHA exfoliant ensures the removal of dead tissue accumulating on the skin surface, so vitamin C reaches the deeper layers of the skin and exerts its maximum effect

Can I use AHA and BHA together? Can be used together. Using them together allows the skin to benefit from the properties of both AHA and BHA. There are benefits when used together, they increase each other's effectiveness if used together. 6% Glycolic/Probiotic Daily Smoothing & Toning Solution can be applied in the evening care routine, and Skin Renewing 2% BHA Lotion Exfoliant can be applied in the morning care routine. AHA and BHA exfoliants can work together. AHAs are water-soluble actives and help dissolve the slurry that allows dead cells to adhere to the surface of the skin. BHAs, on the other hand, are oil-soluble, active, and have the ability to reach deep layers of the skin by descending into the pores. While AHA exfoliants dissolve dead skin cells, BHA exfoliants dissolve excess sebum that accumulates on the skin and clogs the pores, and disinfects the pore. When AHAs and BHAs are used together, they help BHAs go deeper and perform their function more effectively, as AHAs purify the skin surface from dead tissue.

Which actives can I use after AHA exfoliant? As the AHA exfoliant removes the dead tissue that accumulates on the skin surface, the actives in the products with active ingredients, which are applied afterwards, reach the deeper layers of the skin and provide maximum benefit. Ingredients such as Hyaluronic Acid, Nicinamide, BHA (Beta hydroxide acid), vitamin C, probiotic, plant extracts can be applied after AHA exfoliant.

Can I use it with Retinol? Retinol is the only ingredient not recommended for simultaneous use with AHA exfoliants. Exfoliants cause retinol to break down. If retinol-containing serum or moisturizers are desired to be used, 6% Glycolic/Probiotic Daily Smoothing & Toning Solution should be applied alternately one evening and Retinol serum should be applied the other evening.

Can I use it together with Dermofoliant Peeling Powder? Can be used with Dermofoliant Peeling Powder and Dermofoliant- C Peeling Powder. A double cleansing method can be applied with Peeling Powder applied after the cleansing gel, and then it can be continued with 6% Glycolic/Probiotic Daily Smoothing & Toning Solution.

Can I use it during pregnancy and breastfeeding? AHAs are safe to use during pregnancy and lactation. It is recommended to apply AHA exfoliant regularly during this period to prevent pregnancy spots that occur on the skin, especially due to hormonal changes during pregnancy.

Does it make my skin sensitive to the sun? Exfoliation does not make the skin sensitive to the sun, as long as an effective and broad-spectrum sunscreen with at least SPF 30 protection is applied correctly and in the right amount.

Can I use it in summer too? Yes, it can be used. If the skin is well protected from the sun by using an effective and broad-spectrum sunscreen, exfoliation can be safely continued in the summer months as well.

Is foundation or BB cream enough for sun protection? Foundation and BB creams do not take the place of sunscreens because the amount applied to the skin is very small. For more effective protection, it is recommended to support it with sunscreen beforehand.

Should I use cleansers containing AHA and BHA together with AHA Exfoliant? The effects of cleansers containing Glycolic (AHA) or Salicylic (BHA) are not as strong as exfoliants, but they are recommended to be used to support the process. Cleaning products alone cannot provide the necessary exfoliation process, but when combined with exfoliants, they increase each other's strength.

Every skin type (Normal, dry, oily, combination, sensitive skin types) can choose Cyrène AHA/BHA Exfoliating Gentle Cleansing Gel as a cleansing gel.

For oily, oily combination, sensitive, easily inflamed skin types, especially those with acne and acne concerns, Salicylic Gentle Cleansing Gel can be preferred as a cleanser.

Does AHA make my skin thinner? The exfoliation process does not thin the skin! The regular and daily exfoliation process only removes the dead tissue layer that is dead on the skin surface and is not excreted, causing the skin to look dull and rough, and clogging the pores. While the exfoliation process removes dead cells from the skin, it stimulates the underlying layers of the skin responsible for new cell and collagen production for new cell production. In this way, while the dead cell layer on the surface of the skin gets thinner, the layer of live skin cells coming from below thickens.

Do AHA exfoliants burn my skin? Properly formulated and applied AHA exfoliants should not burn, but they may cause mild redness, stinging and tingling on the skin.

How to distinguish between burning and stinging? Stinging or tingling occurs when AHA exfoliant is first applied and disappears after a short while, then it is not felt. Unlike these, the burning never stops and grows continuously. If any exfoliant you use begins to feel burning, the skin should be rinsed immediately with water. If necessary, you can also visit your dermatologist.

Can I use 6% Glycolic/Probiotic Daily Smoothing & Toning Solution with prominent capillaries on my skin? Using AHA exfoliant is safe and can be used for concerns about damaged skin barrier and near-surface capillaries. Exfoliants only remove the layer of dead cells that accumulate on the outer surface of the skin. This dead cell layer, which is not removed from the skin and accumulates, causes the skin surface to look rough and dull, and most importantly, as long as the dead tissue is not removed, the active ingredients applied to the skin surface (vitamin C, Retinol, Niacinamide, aescin, antioxidants, vitamins, various plant extracts and extracts) are not absorbed by the skin and cannot fulfill their duties.

I am having laser epilation/waxing on my face, can I use 6% Glycolic/Probiotic Daily Smoothing & Toning Solution? The application of AHA exfoliant should be stopped 1-2 days before laser epilation or waxing. After laser epilation/waxing , it should be waited for 1-2 days for the skin to be repaired and then return to the normal routine.

Can I do granular peeling or scrub after exfoliation? Do not apply other masks containing granular peeling, pouch or irritant at the same time as AHA exfoliant. These procedures can be done on a day without exfoliant.

Purging Nedir?
