Cyrène Glycolic Vitamin C Serum is a two-in-one night serum with powerful antioxidant effects. Thanks to its special formula working with two different mechanisms, it helps to repair the appearance of the skin. Formulated with 10% Vitamin C and 10% Glycolic Acid (AHA). It is a professional product and allows you to get clinical results with home application. On the one hand, it neutralizes free radicals, on the other hand, it exfoliates the skin surface and removes dead tissue. It helps to achieve a brighter skin while reducing the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. pH: 3.0-4.0 30ml

It should be applied to clean and toned skin once a day and only in the evening. It can also be applied to the neck and décolleté area. Do not rinse. It is not moisturizing! Follow with your nighttime moisturizer. If excessive dryness or flaking of the skin is observed, use it every other day. Discontinue use if irritation is observed. Make sure to use a sunscreen with at least SPF30 protection during the day.

Because it contains 10% Vitamin C and 10% Glycolic Acid, there is a possibility of sensitization to the sun. It is recommended to apply a broad spectrum sunscreen with at least SPF30 protection every day.

For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes and lips. In case of contact, rinse with plenty of water. Store in a cool, sun-free and dry place out of the reach of children. It is recommended to apply a patch test before starting to use. If a negative reaction is observed, stop its use.

Vitamin C has been stabilized by special formulation techniques and experienced formulators. It was created after thousands of experiments by examining the interaction with other ingredients in the formula. With its very special airless and airtight packaging, it is aimed to protect the vitamin C from sunlight and reach the skin in its freshest form with each pump.

Aqua, Glycolic Acid, 3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid, Glycerin, Propylene Glycol, Dipropylheptyl Carbonate, Sodium Polyacrylate, Sodium Hyaluronate, Polysorbate 20, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Tocopherol, Sodium Bicarbonate, Allantoin , Xanthan Gum, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin

Suitable for which skin concerns: Matt and pale appearance, fine lines, wrinkles, sun damage, blemishes, scars, acne scars

For which skin types it is suitable: It is suitable for dry, oily, combination, sun-damaged, dull and pale skin types with blemishes.

What are its effects: Vitamin C is the most effective ingredient that neutralizes and fights free radicals due to its strong antioxidant structure. Glycolic acid, on the other hand, is an alpha hydroxide acid with the smallest molecular structure and its task is to exfoliate the skin and remove the dead tissue layer. With the combination of two active molecules, a brightening and healthy appearance is achieved in the skin.

How and when to apply: For first use, if the skin is not accustomed to vitamin C and alpha hydroxy acids, it should only be used in the evening and every other day. As the skin gets used to it, it can be used every evening. It is a serum that cannot be rinsed off under normal conditions, but if too much burning, stinging or redness occurs, use it as a rinse. Then it should be continued with the other active ingredient serum and plenty of night moisturizer.

Who can use this product: To use this product, the skin must be accustomed to vitamin C and AHAs. Anyone who has used a lower amount of vitamin C or AHA exfoliant before can easily use this product.

Can those who use vitamin C or AHA for the first time use it: People who have never used vitamin C or alpha hydroxy acids before use this serum once or twice a week can start. If too much burning, stinging or redness occurs, it can be used by keeping it on the skin for 3-5 minutes and rinsing.

How often should it be used: It is recommended to be used only in the evening.

Recommended usage for very sensitive skin: If you are using a serum containing vitamin C and alpha hydroxide acid for the first time, it is recommended to start with 1-2 times a week. In case of excessive burning, stinging or redness, it should be left on the skin for 3-5 minutes and rinsed. Afterwards, a lot of night moisturizer should be applied. As the skin gets used to the product, it can be used every other day. After the skin gets used to it, it can be used daily, even in the morning and evening.

Special application techniques: Apply as a thin layer to clean and/or toned skin only in the evening. Those with very sensitive skin should apply it every other day. With glycolic (alpha hydroxy acid), the skin is purified from the dead tissue layer, so vitamin C is absorbed into the deeper layers of the skin and provides maximum effect in a shorter time. The evening care routine must be ended with a moisturizer. It is recommended to apply a sunscreen with at least SPF 30 protection during the day.

With AHA/BHA Exfoliating Gentle Cleansing Gel Can I use it: The effects of cleansers with Glycolic (AHA) or Salicylic (BHA) content are not as strong as exfoliants, but they are recommended to be used together to support the process.

Can it be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding: It is safe to use during pregnancy and breastfeeding. It is recommended to regularly apply vitamin C and alpha hydroxy acid during this period to prevent pregnancy spots that occur on the skin due to hormonal changes during pregnancy.

Can it be applied around the eyes: Since the eye area is a special and very sensitive area, only products specially formulated for this area should be used for the area around the eyes. Application around the eyes not recommended. It should never get into the eyes! It should not be used in areas very close to the eyes, on eyelids, eyebrows and eyelashes!

In which seasons it can be applied: Except very hot summer months (Especially in very hot months like August and while on vacation, its use can be stopped). It can be used easily in spring, autumn and winter seasons.

Can it be used with Niacinamide: Today's active molecules are more stable and technological designs compared to previous years. In this way, there is no harm in using them together. Niacinamide and vitamin C can be used together. Those with very sensitive skin can use niacinamide in the form of Glycolic + Vitamin C Serum one day. Another alternative is to use niacinamide serum in the morning and Glycolic + Vitamin C Serum in the evening.

Can it be used with hyaluronic acid: HA tends to increase the penetration of active molecules. HA increases the absorption of all the active molecules subsequently applied. Hyaluronic acid serum can be used before or after Glycolic + Vitamin C Serum.

Can it be used with Azelaic Acid? They are compatible with azelaic acid and work well together Can be used repeatedly.

Can it be used with Retinol? Retinol active ingredient is very sensitive, it can be degraded by direct sun rays and astics. The feature of vitamin C is to keep the Retinol active molecule stable. Retinol and vitamin C are actives that increase each other's activity and stability. It is recommended to use them together.

Is it compatible with peptide and ceramide: is compatible, can be used together or sequentially.

Can I use it together with Dermofoliant Peeling Powder? Can be used with Dermofoliant Peeling Powder and Dermofoliant- C Peeling Powder. Double cleansing method can be applied with Peeling Powder applied after the cleansing gel.

Does it make my skin sensitive to the sun? An effective broad-spectrum sunscreen with at least SPF 30 protection does not make the skin sensitive to the sun as long as it is applied correctly and in the right amount.

Is foundation or BB cream enough for sun protection? Foundation and BB creams do not take the place of sunscreens because the amount applied to the skin is very small. For more effective protection, it is recommended to support it with sunscreen beforehand.

Does it thin my skin: Does not thin the skin! The regular and daily exfoliation process only removes the dead tissue layer that is dead on the skin surface and is not excreted, causing the skin to look dull and rough, and clogging the pores. While the exfoliation process removes dead cells from the skin, it stimulates the underlying layers of the skin responsible for new cell and collagen production for new cell production. In this way, while the dead cell layer on the surface of the skin gets thinner, the layer of live skin cells coming from below thickens.

The capillaries are prominent on my skin, can I use it: Can be used for damaged skin barrier and near-surface capillaries concerns. Vitamin C is an antioxidant, and AHAs only remove the layer of dead cells that accumulate on the outer surface of the skin. This dead cell layer, which is not removed and accumulates when it should be removed from the skin, causes the skin surface to appear rough and dull.

Does it burn my skin: Properly formulated and applied vitamin C and its mixtures should not burn. Due to its functions and working mechanisms, slight redness, stinging and tingling may occur on the skin.

How to distinguish between burning and stinging: Stinging or tingling occurs when the exfoliant or serum is applied for the first time and disappears after a short while, then it is not felt. Unlike these, the burning never stops and grows continuously. If any exfoliant you use begins to feel burning, the skin should be rinsed immediately with water. If necessary, you can also visit your dermatologist.

I have laser epilation/waxing on my face, can I use it? The application should be stopped 1-2 days before laser epilation or waxing. After laser epilation/waxing , it should be waited for 1-2 days for the skin to be repaired and then return to the normal routine.

Can I do granular peeling or scrub at the same time? Other masks containing granular peeling, pouch or irritant should not be applied at the same time.

    What's in it

Glycolic acid: Glycolic acid is Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA), which is obtained from sugar cane and has the smallest molecular structure, for superficial peeling (exfoliant) purposes at rates ranging from 2% to 10%. Used in daily or weekly skin care routines. Concentrations of Glycolic Acid between 20 and 70% are the doses most commonly used by dermatologists or skin care clinics for skin rejuvenation (chemical peeling).

In case of regular use of products containing glycolic acid, collagen and elastin tissues are restructured, thus helping to repair fine lines and wrinkles. In addition, it removes the rough, matte pale appearance and gives a more lively and luminous skin. Since it triggers collagen synthesis, it is also effective in loss of elasticity and sagging.

Glycolic acid exerts a water-retaining effect and brings moisture to the skin, starting from the deepest layers of the skin. While ordinary moisturizers prevent the loss of existing moisture in the skin by forming a film on the upper layer of the skin (TEWL - trans epidermal water loss), glycolic acid reaches the lowest layer of the skin due to its very small molecular structure and is effective in these layers. As a result of stimulating the support tissues of the skin, it triggers the production of hyaluronic acid and moisturizes the lower layers of the skin. Since the production of Hyaluronic Acid is triggered in the lower layers of the skin, the skin regains both its moisture and its elastic structure.

Vitamin C: Vitamin C is naturally found in citrus fruits or can be produced synthetically. Unlike many other vitamins, the human body cannot synthesize (produce) vitamin C, and it has to be taken orally from food or externally through serum or products containing vitamin C applied topically to the skin.

18.In the 19th century, sailors discovered that consuming citrus fruits protects against dental health, bleeding, various skin concerns and mental disorders, especially scurvy.

How does Vitamin C fight free radicals?

Environmental effects such as UV and Infrared rays, environmental pollution, and cigarette smoke are negative conditions that produce free radicals. Free radicals are unstable (without a pair of electrons) molecules. In order to stabilize themselves (neutral), they remove electrons from the first molecules they come across (from our skin). Free radical damage causes premature aging of the skin. Wrinkles, color irregularity, blemishes, loss of elasticity, sagging are the signs of aging that occur as a result of free radical damage.

Vitamin C, especially in its pure form and in the form known as L-ascorbic acid, neutralizes free radicals by giving electrons, thus protecting the skin from free radical attacks and damage.

What are the benefits of vitamin C for our skin?

Pure vitamin C (L-ascorbic acid) is a molecule with very strong antioxidant properties. Therefore, vitamin C is a vital molecule for skin health. It protects the skin from free radicals caused by negative factors such as sun rays (UV and Infrared rays), environmental pollution and cigarette smoke. It helps the skin to continue its functions in a healthy way and to preserve its youthful appearance, and prevents premature aging.

Vitamin C is the most effective and strongest antioxidant. The use of vitamin C provides visible positive results in the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and color tone unevenness, while protecting the skin against adverse environmental conditions.

What should be considered when choosing a vitamin C serum?

For effective results from a serum containing vitamin C, it is very important that vitamin C is formulated correctly. There are 3 important factors for an effective and maximum absorbable vitamin C formula:

    1. The purest form of vitamin C, which is in the form of L ascorbic acid
    2. The formula has the right pH range. For an effective, stable and maximum absorbable vitamin C formula, the pH should be 3.0-3.5.
    3. For the formula to be effective, vitamin C ratios should be in the range of 10 - 25%.

Packaging selection is important in skin care products

The packaging of the product is one of the most important issues for the stability of the product, especially in dermocosmetic products with active ingredients. The actives in the formula may decompose quickly and lose its formula properties when in contact with light and air.

Active ingredients such as antioxidants, vitamin C, retinol, which are the best and most beneficial ingredients for the skin, degrade quickly and lose their activity when they come into contact with air. This issue has been scientifically proven. If the packaging containing the product is a glass bottle, jar or similar packaging with droplets that can be opened, air enters the product every time the product is opened. At each air intake, the actives in the product degrade by contact with the air. At each product purchase, the packaging gets more air and the decomposition process of the actives accelerates, their activity decreases and worst of all, they can reach a level that can cause irritation to the skin.

Minimizing air and light is maximizing product benefits.

Why do many brands use air and light permeable packaging?

The most important reason is cost. Due to its airless packaging features, it is the most costly packaging type. In order to cut costs, many brands turn to packaging that is cheaper but also puts product stability at great risk.

Which is the most suitable packaging for active ingredient dermocosmetic formulas?

The most suitable packaging is air and light-proof packaging in order to preserve the stability of the product and prevent the decomposition of the actives. These packages are called Airless. Once airless packaging is closed during production, it is impossible to open it again! It is impossible to open the packaging even if it is tried to break.

    Features of Airless packaging:

It is an airtight, UV protected, opaque and double-walled packaging type. In a package operating with this mechanism, neither sunlight nor air can enter from the outside. The active molecules and formula in the package, where air and sun rays cannot enter, remain stable. Airless packaging works with a special elevator mechanism. It does not have any parts that come into contact with the valve or the product. Pressure is applied to the pump part to take the product from inside, and because of this pressure, the product is pushed upwards with the help of the elevator and comes out of the mouth of the pump. When the product in the package is completely finished, since there is no air in the package, even if the pump is tried to be pressed, pressure cannot be applied and the package does not work. The pump can go inside by forcibly pressed, but the pump may not come back because there is no driving force from inside. The pump or packaging is not broken, the product is finished.

    Purging Nedir?
